Based on my understanding of myself, I know that I am a person who does not like to make plans. And if there is no spur from others, I often like to procrastinate the work until the last minute. In order to avoid this situation, and I also hope to make a complete and satisfactory final assignment, I chose to form a group with Teddy and Kaori.
So in the next three months, I had to report to school every day and work with Teddy. Because Teddy and I are also people who need group cooperation, we are most efficient when we stay in the library together.
However, it is not easy to complete a work with many people. Everyone has their own ideas, and these ideas are not good or bad. Everyone hopes that their ideas can be passed, but this will affect the overall style of this work. Therefore, Teddy and I often quarreled in the early stage of cooperation.
Starting from the character design, I had different opinions with him. Because we have different aesthetics and completely different definitions of “fashion” (because we hope to make a fashionable animation film). As for the color matching, I hope the colors can be more unified, but Teddy thinks that the color tendency of the fashionable films on the market today is not so serious, otherwise it will look particularly childish. There are also various differences in the background and music.
But fortunately, our goals are the same: we hope to make a good work that is eye-catching and complete. Therefore, in every friction, we try our best to stick to ourselves while also considering each other. Try to find a compromise to satisfy both of us (or make both of us dissatisfied:D) We are getting more and more tacit and understand each other more and more. Compared with the head-on confrontation at the beginning, we have learned how to take care of each other’s emotions and ideas in the team.
We are very satisfied with the final animation result. I don’t regret this cooperation at all, and I am very glad that we have worked together to produce such a good film.
Our next plan is to put this animation film into various competitions, hoping to achieve a good result. I am very confident in our film.
